About Gateway Sports ClubGateway Sports Inc. is a sports school that strives for excellence in every program that we offer. We are affiliated with the New City Gateway Community Church. We first started swimming lessons several years ago with only seventeen students and today, our programs have hundreds of enrolled individuals. Our sports school prides itself on exceptional programs designed to teach our students how to swim, play basketball, tennis, soccer as well as to improve skills that they already have.
Gateway Sports has seven levels of swimming, in addition to our Junior Development Swim Team and our Senior Swim Team. In each level, the students are gradually introduced to and learn all four swimming strokes, as well as techniques for better stroke development. Our Level 6 and Level 7 students are eligible to join the Junior Development Swim Team or the Senior Swim Team. Our Swim Team, which is an active member of the United States Swimming Association and the local Metro Swimming Organization, has had great success with swimmers qualifying and competing in the Junior Olympics 2004, 2005 and 2006.

All members must register for the entire semester.
Payment must be made in full and in advance.
There is No Refund or Credit and All Payments are Final.
All new members must pay a non-refundable
registration/membership fee of the following (siblings only):
1st Member - $45.00
2nd Member - $35.00
3rd Member - $25.00
4th Member - $25.00
Membership fee is a lifetime guarantee unless it is broken by an absence of one full year or more (date of registration is viewed as the beginning of year). If for medical reasons a member cannot attend classes, there is no refund however, on provision of a doctor's note, makeups may be scheduled by the office within the semester or an office approved credit may be given. If any member does not want to continue classes for any given reason, there will be no refund or credit allowed. Parents of younger kids especially, please ensure that your child is ready to swim before registering, since there is no refund if your child refuses to swim.
Classes and Sessions:
There are ten classes for fall, winter, and spring semesters. On the 9th class, there is an advance placement test for each member. All sessions will be run according to a set schedule; however these times may vary due to facility's usage and public holidays. Members will be notified of changes (usually via e-mail and our website) and must attend the next organized class. Schedule information is provided at the beginning of each semester and is also available on our website.
All members must be prompt, as lateness will not be tolerated. There will be no makeup classes as a result and students will not be allowed to attend any later sessions. If absent, a student is allowed one make-up class at their registered location ONLY, which must be scheduled by the pool manager or coach, before attendance is permitted. After the 6th day of classes, make-ups cannot be scheduled and it is advised that students attend all classes.
Site Rules:
Gateway Sports' Inc. is not liable for any accidents or injuries to members, in or around the facility. Please secure all personal belongings, as we are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. No running, food, or shoes are allowed on the pool deck. Note that all members must be dressed in appropriate bathing attire and gear for each class i.e. cap, goggles, one piece swimsuit (girls) and swim shorts (boys) by the first day of the session.Gateway Sports' Inc. has the right to refuse any member for disorderly conduct towards the staff or other members.
