Our Swimming Program:
The Gateway Sports Inc. classes provide instruction to help swimmers of all ages and abilities, to develop their swimming and water safety skills. It is designed to give a quality, well-structured swimming education to students, while cultivating and nurturing the concepts of good sportsmanship, dedication and self-confidence.
Gateway Sports Inc. teaches the aquatic and safety skills of all four strokes - freestyle, backstroke, breastroke and butterfly. Our main objective is to teach our members, who span all ages from four years old to adult, how to swim and to be safe in and around the water.
Students start from Level 1 (which is divided into Beginner1&2) and work their way to Level 7. The Level 6 and 7 students are eligible to join our Junior Development Swim Team and Senior Swim Team, both of which are very active and compete locally and nationally, in the United States Swimming Association and the local Metro Swimming Organization competitions. Our team has had great success over the years, with swimmers qualifying and competing in the Junior Olympics and Metropolitan Zone from 2004 to present.
