OUR SWIMMING TEAM:
The Gateway Sports' coaches are committed to providing exceptional instruction for our Freshman,Senior and Junior Swim Teams. Our focus is to teach competitive swimming while building the qualities of good sportsmanship, self-confidence and competitive awareness. Levels 4-7 can join our Freshman Team, while only Level 6 and 7 students are eligible to join our Junior Swim Team and Senior Swim Team. Our Junior and Senior teams are both very active and compete locally and nationally, in the United States Swimming Association and the local Metro Swimming Organization competitions. Our team has had great success over the years, with swimmers qualifying and competing every year in the Junior Olympics and Metropolitan Zone from 2004 to present.

Notice: In addition to the cost of team classes, Junior and Senior Team swimmers must pay $200 extra which will be for $56 USS 2010 team membership and $144 will go to all the meets for the season. All members of the Junior and Senior Team must pay this fee even if they do not compete.

2010 USA Swimming Membership Application
The 2010 USA membership registration form, (Download it here). Please complete the form and sign; put the form in an envelope and return to Gateway Staff site manager or Board Member. This form must be completed or your child will not compete.
March 5th - 7th 2010 Silver APEX Meet. Gateway swimmer dead line to register for this meet is February 7th (click here for meet info)
March 19th - 21st 2010 JO Meet. Gateway swimmer dead line to register for this meet is February 7th (click here for meet info)
April 25th 2010 Badger Meet. Gateway swimmer dead line to register for this meet is February 7th (click here for meet info)

Equipment Distribution
Thank you for being a member of the Gateway Swimmers team. Each swimmer is responsible for bringing his or her own kickboard, paddles, pull buoy, & fins everytime they come to practice. All swimmers must bring their own kickboard and pull buoy to practice. Swimmers without their equipment will not be allowed to swim. Thanks for your cooperation.
